Hello, I am selling a vehicle on Craigslist and I was contacted by a "David Franck" so, this guy is a scammer? I thought the e-mail sounded a little off... They requested pictures (I had pictures posted) and wanted me to give out my address and phone number so he can mail me a check. He said once the check clears then he will arrange shipment. I was planning on selling it locally, and I think it is weird that someone would buy a vehicle they haven't seen in person or driven. He gave me his address, which I don't know if it is a real one but it says he lives in Utah... I am in Washington. I have not replied to him, what should I say?
That is up to you. You can either cut ties with him or play with him. I guess it depends on your personality type.
I WOULD at least report him to the authorities though.
